Eco-Digester is a high tech solution for turning large quantities of food and organic waste into valuable compost overnight. Explore the wide range of equipment we supply for handling various quantities of raw, organic waste on a daily basis, ranging from 2Kg up to 30 tons, with a custom solution, if needed. All of our products produce compost in precisely the same way, through an aerobic process using thermophile microorganisms.

This recycling process  involves  decomposition of organic  waste into  humus  (compost). This compost is a valuable product with soil amendment potential. As food waste decomposition is a process facilitated by a series of different microorganisms, it is crucial to adopt a suitable microbial communities to the process. The contributions of the project will be:

1. isolate potential biocatalysts from FW;
2. study the effect of the different biocatalysts to the FW recycling;
3. evaluate the final products for their suitability to be used as soil amendment.

Afterwhich, when the enzymes are produced, we will use it to process the food waste shown in the diagram above.
